GBF is a 501 (C)(3) non-profit organization with EIN 85-1065402, based in Atlanta, USA. We are a volunteer-based organisation which works to rescue vulnerable people from emergency situations and provide them with effective means to maximize their potential to lead independent and productive lives.
All donations raised by the foundation are tax deductible and are invested 100% directly to make an impact on the underprivileged and under-served communities in Pakistan, India and Central Asia. The projects are supported solely by voluntary contributions and services. The projects are supported solely by voluntary contributions and services. Our aspirations are driven by the sayings of The Aga Khan IV. On …….. in ……. He said “people are born with difficulties…… we have to provide that spark”.
A world where every individual — empowered with skills, knowledge, and compassion — becomes a source of transformation for their family, their community, and future generations, while holding others by the hand and guiding them forward through learning and shared growth.
To empower underserved communities by providing the spark — equipping individuals with hand and mind skills through access to education, healthcare, digital literacy, and sustainable livelihoods.
We are committed to building ethical, inclusive, and resilient societies where every person, regardless of background, can grow with dignity, contribute with purpose, thrive through opportunity, and hold and lead others by the hand to teach and uplift in return.
At GBF, we believe in nurturing the roots — human potential, values, and local capacity — so that the fruits of progress, unity, and lasting impact grow naturally.
We strive to achieve our goals by building a strong base of resources, including both materials and skilled personnel, while remaining dedicated to identifying and supporting those in need.
We are driven by a vision to uplift lives by uniting resources, both material and human, and by passionately seeking out those who need help the most—because true impact begins where compassion meets action.
Currently, we are working closely with the institutional framework of the Ismaili Community geographically concentrated in Pakistan, India and Central Asia. On several occasions GBF has entered into partnership with institutions such as health, education, social welfare and micro finance using voluntary capacity of the community. This model has been successful in covering some of the gaps in our societies.
The primary deficiency is access to good education. GBF aims to provide lifelines to the needy families who are simply poverty stricken. Another area that requires urgent attention is basic health provision. This becomes a big challenge particularly in the under developed economies. GBF aims to support and provide treatment opportunities for the lives of those who have been affected by serious medical conditions.

Social welfare – household inequalities, domestic violence, drugs, arbitration
Economics – business start-ups and cottage industries
Giving is not just about making a donation — it's about making a lasting difference. A small act of kindness today can become a lifetime of hope for someone in need. When you give from the heart, you help build a future brighter than you can imagine.
