Our Vocational Center equips individuals with practical, job-ready skills through hands-on training and industry-relevant programs. By bridging the gap between learning and employment, it empowers people to achieve economic independence and contribute meaningfully to their communities.

Women Skill Development Center

Global Brothers Foundation (GBF) empowered the women of Yasin Valley by donating sewing machines, opening new doors to self-reliance and economic opportunity.

The Al-Karim Local Support Welfare Organization Taus, Yasin with the Global Brothers Foundation (GBF), embarked on a transformative to empower women through vocational training in tailoring. GBF generously granted 20 sewing machines to the vocational center, aiming got equip women with valuable skills and opportunities for economic self-sufficiency.

Sewing Machines Provision

With the support of GBF the vocational center successfully acquired 20 sewing machines, 1 picko machine and essential tools for training and production.

Train Women in tailoring

Twenty women from the community have undergone comprehensive training in tailoring, gaining proficiency in various stitching techniques, pattern-making and garment construction.

Future Plans

With the completion of training, the women are eager to utilize their newly acquired skills to produce dresses and other garments.

To facilitate the dressmaking process, the vocational center plans to procure clothe in bulk quantities. This will enable efficient production and ensure timely delivery of finished products.

Efforts will be made to establish market linkages for the products manufactured by the women, ensuring sustainable income generation and market penetration.

The vocational center remains committed to providing ongoing support and training to empower women further and enhance their skill sets.

The Vocational Center has become a vibrant hub of activity, regularly organizing events that promote skill development, entrepreneurship, and social engagement.
